There are several routes around l’Estany de Banyoles that you can do on foot or by bike, such as the whole tour of the lake, during which you can discover the Neolithic Park of La Draga and the emblematic “Pesqueres”of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, small buildings where the boat and fishing equipment and later adapted for swimming and lodging.
The route of La Puda and Les Estunes will take you to the Font Pudosa and the old spa of the city (currently in ruins), in the Estunes forest and in a wetland and pond area where you can spotting storks and other birds.
The ascent to the Puig Clarà (315 meters high), crossing the Can Morgat lagoons, is another of the itineraries that you can do, and that will reward you with fantastic views of the Eastern Pyrenees of the Lake of Banyoles and even of the Cape of Begur and the placid Mediterranean Sea, if the sky is flat enough.
